Parents and Friends Association
The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is made up of interested parents from the school. The PFA provides an opportunity for parents to participate and contribute to the school community and in partnership with the School Council organize social and fundraising activities. The Parents and Friends Association is also the voice of parents at the school. Discussion regarding school policy and programs takes place at PFA meetings.
The president of the Suzanne Cory High School PFA for 2014 is Martin Oakes who is also a representative on School Council. Martin is able to take matters that arise with the PFA to the School Council for discussion. Martin has been an active member of the school community since its foundation in 2011.
The PFA is committed to continue to support students in their learning at Suzanne Cory High School through a range of fundraising activities
The PFA has been very active over the last 3 years with fundraising supporting the purchase of musical instruments, a De-fib machine for first aid and additional microwaves for student use. The PFA also supports student fundraising activities including Shave for a Cure to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Second hand uniforms
The PFA no longer manages the sale of second-hand uniform. If you have an enquiry about second-hand uniform, please contact the General Office.
Information regarding meetings and fundraising will be sent to parents and guardians via email.
Meetings & Events
PFA meetings are held on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the school.
