Acquiring an Instrument
Students have the option of purchasing their own instrument or leasing an instrument from the school
At Suzanne Cory High School we have a number of instruments for new students to hire. We are currently hiring the following instruments to beginner students:
- Alto Saxophone
- Tenor Saxophone
Lessons are delivered either individually, or in small groups comprised of students who are at the same standard. Lessons are provided weekly with a specialist instrumental teacher.
Individual lessons are 30 minutes in duration. Group lessons are 45 minutes in duration. Students are placed on a rotating timetable and come out of class for their lesson on a set day of the week. It is an expectation that music students catch up on any class work they miss.
